Nendo Galerie is pleased to announce the third installment of its year-end NendoMarket exhibition.

Continuing to question the ways in which contemporary ceramics are exhibited, NendoMarket 03 presents a selection of mostly domestic forms by six ceramic artists.

The invitation to artists was made in view of the relevance of their vocabulary, the quality of their research, but also the heterogeneity and contrast of their practices compared to each other.

 The deliberately eclectic selection of works ranges from the meticulous detail of Audrey Ballachino’s small domestic theater to François Bauer’s dazzlingly inventive deconstruction of form, from Marie-Christine Meyer’s vitamin-rich yet melancholy landscape echoes to Akitsu Orii’s overflowing pictorial energy, from Alban Turquois’s research into experimentation and ancestral traditions to Jun Ho Yun’s technical and visual brilliance, which sets out to redefine the Korean Buncheong with a striking new decorative energy.
